Okay!!! I've been away for a long while, but im back now for good (i pray)
So I'm introducing a new segment on this blog, called 'BeautyBreakdown' . Here we get to know about popular beauty products or therapy in 9ja that work. For those that don't work, im not gonna mention them because im not trying to run any brand's business down, i only want to share my discoveries and results nothing more!!!
Before i start, note that I'm not being paid by any brand to write this. This is me doing my thing and just letting you all know in case you dont know, *wink*
Back to the subject matter; ' The Magic of Maybelline 'Baby Lips'.
Maybelline Newyork has been in Nigeria for a couple of years now and its been amazing!!! despite the fact they have other great product, one product of theirs, that got my total attention is the 'baby lips' (lip balm). There are different shades, but one amazing shade that does a lot of my magic on my lips is the red baby lips - lip balm. Before i made my amazing discovery, i experimented for 6 months, yes 6 months!!! just to let you know that anything i write on, has be carefully tested by yours truly( the experiments are healthy ones oooooooh!!!)

Okay back to my discovery, so their has been this crase about getting pink lips and a lot of people have been spending crazy amounts of money at numerous beauty outlets to 'pinkify'(if that's in the dictionary) their lips especially at Ikeja under bridge. Well i think i have come up with a cheaper remedy that works.
My lips were kinda pale-pink and all over the place, i remember how i always have to line them coupled with the chappy ish going on with them. So i went online to research ways to get kissable lips, smooths lips etc, then i discovered the honey+brownsugar+oliveoil lip-scrub! all i can say about this mixture is awwwwwwwesome!!!it was like magic i can't do without it. one strange thing about this scrub- it defines your lips and make it look prettier.
One idle day my regular lip balm finish, and i decided to use my maybelline baby lips balm(the red one) it was a gift. After scrubbing my lips in a horizontal motion with the amazing mixture, i applied the baby lips, which was really nice and i loved the smell *yummy* Hence i decided to continue with the baby lips balm. This balm gradually pinkified my lips!

Now i don't line my lips , i just apply a little amount of baby lips on my lips before i take my bath , let it moisturize them, then when I'm all dressed up, i apply my slightly tinted lip gloss and its just beautiful.

You all can try the remedy below , and i hope it does some magic on your lips!!!
Pinkified lips Remedy
All you need; Maybelline baby lips(the red one), honey+brownsugar+oliveoil mixture.
Every 3 days in a week, horizontally scrub your lips gently with the honey+brownsugar+oliveoil mixture, after which you apply a generous amount of baby lips on your lips before you sleep at night.
In the morning apply a little amount of baby lips and let it moisturize our lips while you're getting ready for the day. Be persistent and realistic, i got my results after 6 months.
Note- do not scrub the lips everyday but apply the baby lips every night and day.
